Warner Robins Sees Job Market Gains, Unemployment Holds at 3.4% in March

The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday that Warner Robins recorded an unemployment rate of 3.4% in March, unchanged from the previous month. A year ago, the rate was 3.1%.
“In March, Georgians from every corner of the state stepped up, joining the workforce and filling critical jobs that drive our state’s economy forward,” said Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes. "By working with regional partners across the state, we’re creating a globally competitive workforce — one that’s built to last and ready to lead Georgia into its next phase of prosperity."
The labor force in Warner Robins increased by 401 from the previous month and ended March at 90,472. That number decreased by 299 from March 2024.
Warner Robins finished the month with 87,403 employed residents. That number increased by 370 from the previous month and decreased by 533 from the same time last year.
Warner Robins ended March with 79,700 jobs, up 100 from the previous month and up 200 from the same time last year.
In March, initial unemployment claims decreased by 15 from the previous month and increased by 47 from the same month a year ago, totaling 243.
