Warner Robins Sees Job Growth in February, Unemployment at 3.4%

The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday that Warner Robins recorded an unemployment rate of 3.4 percent in February, up three-tenths of a percent over-the-month. A year ago, the rate was 3.0 percent.

“Jobs are growing, and so is Georgia’s future," said GDOL Interim Successor Louis DeBroux. "With regional job growth across Georgia in February and the state's unemployment rate holding steady at 3.6%—well below the national average—Georgia continues to prove itself as the #1 place where businesses and talent thrive."

The labor force in Warner Robins decreased by 227 over-the-month and ended February with 90,113. That number decreased by 187 when compared to February of 2024.

Warner Robins finished the month with 87,069 employed residents. That number was down 434 over-the-month and down by 496 compared to the same time last year.

Warner Robins ended February with 79,600 jobs, up 300 over-the-month and up 700 compared to this time last year.

In February, initial unemployment claims decreased by 28 over-the-month and were down by 9 compared to the same month last year, totaling 258.
