A familiar face is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Fairview Park Hospital. Brad Griffin, who served as Associate Administrator and Chief Operating Officer (COO) from 2003-2008, started as CEO on March 31.
“I am happy to be back at Fairview and to be serving Dublin-Laurens County and the surrounding communities”, commented Brad Griffin, CEO of Fairview Park Hospital. “Fairview is a strong facility with a proven record of success, and I am excited to join the team in taking the hospital into the future as we continue to improve our existing services while also expanding our current footprint in the healthcare community.”
Over his 25+ year healthcare career, Brad has held COO and CEO positions at several facilities across the southeast, most recently serving as COO at Doctors Hospital of Augusta (DHOA). In his two and a half years at DHOA, Brad managed over $50 million in capital projects and played a vital role in improving employee and physician engagement.
“Brad is a strong hospital operator with a track record of driving both operational and clinical success,” said Hugh C. Tappan, President of HCA Healthcare’s South Atlantic Division. “He also has a strong connection with Fairview Park Hospital and its community.”
A native of Macon, Brad earned his undergraduate degree from Mercer University in Macon and his Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration degrees from Georgia State University in Atlanta. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Brad follows Don Avery as CEO. Don served as CEO for 17 years and passed away earlier this year.
