Thursday, December 17th, 2020
Z Beans Coffee announced today that they will be hosting a profit share event across all Macon locations (Mercer Village, Cotton Ave. and Coliseum) on Friday, December 18, 2020 in which 10% of all profits for the day will be split between the Otis Redding Foundation and the Merrie Christmas Project for United Way of Central Georgia.
Z Beans has partnered with both the Otis Redding Foundation and the Merrie Christmas Project to roast their very own specialty blends for this holiday season. The Otis Redding Foundation blend, dubbed “Try a Little Tenderness,” features a blend of three different farmers, Ramiro Pauta, Alfredo Ochoa, and Milton Rivadeneira while the Merrie Christmas Project is a vanilla flavored blend of Z Beans’ “Christmas Coffee.”
“In his brief career Shane Buerster has proven to be a passionate supporter for families in need, whether they be Ecuadorian farmers trying to forge a new life as coffee growers, or local families battling every day to bring financial stability to their families” stated George McCanless, President & CEO of United Way of Central Georgia. “For the 2nd year in a row we have partnered with Z Beans to produce a special holiday blend in support of our Merrie Christmas Project. We encourage everyone to visit a Z Beans location this Friday, and know that by enjoying a great hot cup of coffee you are also helping local families enjoy the warmth of the Christmas season”.
