The H2U and Volunteer program of Coliseum Health System is hosting a drive through toy and canned good drive this Saturday, December 5 from 10am to Noon.  All toys collected will be donated to Kids Yule Love, and all food items will be donated to the Middle Georgia Food Bank.

Toys should be new (unused) and should not be wrapped. Please ensure all canned items are not expired. To donate, drive to the parking lot of Coliseum Northside Hospital and look for the blue tent. The hospital will collect the items through the window, and there is no need to get out of your car.  Coliseum Health System recommends that you wear a mask.  In case of rain, the drive through will be set up near the main entrance of the hospital.

Kids Yule Love has even made special arrangements to have Santa Claus on site!  He will be there to wave and thank everyone who makes a donation.  Please stay in your car to wave and greet Santa to keep the drive through line can keep moving smoothly.

Steve Daugherty, CEO of Coliseum Health System, says that this event is a reflection of the hospital’s commitment to the middle Georgia community.

“For years, the H2U and volunteer program at Coliseum Health System donates hundreds of toys to Kids Yule Love and canned items to the food bank,” said Daugherty. “Because of COVID-19 concerns, the group could not host their traditional holiday meal together but they found a way to continue to support the needs of our most vulnerable residents.”
