The Bibb County School District Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Department recently received a $25,000 Workforce Development Fund Grant. This award from the Georgia Power Foundation is intended to support career preparation efforts in the District.

“Providing this opportunity to Bibb County students will ensure that all students graduate with stackable credentials of value, which will allow them to be an asset to the future-ready pipeline,” said Dr. Cassandra Washington, CTAE Executive Director.

With this funding, District students will receive Lean Six Sigma Training in pursuit of Yellow Belt and Green Belt Certification for high school freshmen in each District high school, along with juniors that wish to participate in work-based learning.
