New Study Advocates for I-14 Highway Extension; Central Georgia Residents Welcome More Transportation

When Curtis Anderson drives to the Ivey General Store, he sees more cars on the road than he did as a child. He credits State Highway 540 with helping bring more traffic — and business — to the area.
“The 540 right here has really helped this area,” Anderson said.
Now, Anderson supports the proposed expansion of Interstate 14 into Georgia, hoping it will help grow his business and generate more revenue for the city.
