Zaxby's, the chicken finger fast-food restaurant, is testing out a brand new item at select Central Georgia locations, and it's a southern classic: Mac & cheese.

The chain says that, starting from Nov. 2 and through Dec. 27, select locations in Macon be offering mac & cheese on their menu.

"Everyone loves Mac & Cheese, and Zaxbys fans are no different. We're excited to test this craveable comfort food with a distinctly Zaxbys twist in the Macon community,” Zaxbys Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer Patrick Schwing said in the statement. “By pairing our hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz with a rich, creamy five-cheese blend, we've created something that perfectly captures what our guests love about Zaxbys, bold flavors and craveable quality with versatile options. "
