P&Z: Renderings of New Downtown Macon Apartment Complex off Plum Street Released

Documents filed with Macon-Bibb Planning and Zoning is offering a glance at the new apartment building being constructed in downtown by D.T. Walton Way and Plum Street.
The apartment complex, branded "The Walton," is currently under construction near the downtown intersection.
The six-story mix-used building is just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Macon at 552 D.T. Walton Sr. Way. The project, which was approved by the planning and zoning commission approved in August 2024, is located on what used to be a parking lot.
