Peach County Voters to Decide on Utility Tax Break, Road Tax Renewal During Midterms

Voters in Peach County will find two local questions at the bottom of their ballots this election: one asking whether to give power companies a tax break on stored equipment, and another asking whether to renew the county’s transportation sales tax.
Question 1: Tax break on utility equipment
The first question asks whether electric utilities should stop paying county property taxes on equipment they keep in storage, such as poles, wire, meters and transformers.
