Warner Robins Dental Office Offers Free Care, Fostering Community Smiles

A Warner Robins dental office spent Friday giving members of the public a chance to get a free cleaning, filling or extraction, as staff and volunteers worked from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to squeeze in as many patients as possible.
Hayslip Family Dentistry hosted its annual Free Dental Day, an event now in its fourth year. Christa Byrd and her colleagues volunteer their time for the event each year.
"The difference that we see in people when they come and when they leave is sometimes night and day," Byrd said.
Byrd said she volunteers because she believes in the power of a smile.
