Macon-Bibb Planning and Zoning is holding three additional workshops, geared towards giving residents an opportunity to weigh in on the future growth and development of Macon-Bibb County. 

“We’re interested in hearing what each community in the County envisions for their future,”  Gregory Brown, Planning Director for MBPZ, said in a statement. “This will help inform where we prioritize new development and redevelopment, and how we’ll do it. ”

On Thursday, the county will present a brief presentation on their comprehensive plan — a zoning document outlining land use and development plans — at Rock Springs Church on Bass Road before opening the floor for comments and other activities to gauge how residents want to see their communities develop.
