Airmen, civilians, and community partners celebrated the 2026 Air Force Ball at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Sept. 19, 2026. This year’s event served as a historic triple celebration, commemorating the 79th birthday of the United States Air Force, the 85th anniversary of Robins Air Force Base, and the 250th anniversary of American independence.

Col. Johari Hemphill, Robins Installation and 78th Air Base Wing commander, and his command team led traditional toasts to the president, the Air Force Chief of Staff, sister services and allies, guests and community partners, and our fallen service members. Following the toasts, the most senior and most junior Airmen joined together to cut the birthday cake with a ceremonial saber.

The Honorable Robert McMahon, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment and retired Air Force Major General, served as the keynote speaker. McMahon delivered an address encouraging attendees to personify the Air Force core values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.
