A Pair of Macon-Bibb Senior Tax Breaks are on the November Ballot

Macon-Bibb County voters will see two questions on their ballot that could change the way property taxes are calculated for some homeowners 65 and older.
On Nov. 3, voters will decide whether to approve two new senior homestead exemptions — one for Macon-Bibb County property taxes and another for Bibb County school district property taxes.
Both measures would provide larger tax exemptions as homeowners get older.
