The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday that the two-county Warner Robins Metropolitan Statistical Area saw an increase in employment in July, while the unemployment rate fell five-tenths of a percentage point over the month to 3.0%. A year ago, the rate was 3.3%.

We aren’t slowing down – our focus remains on putting Georgians to work, growing paychecks and building real opportunity in every corner of the state.”

The labor force in Warner Robins was down by 310 over the month and ended July at 89,956.

That number decreased by 703 over the year. Warner Robins finished July with 87,250 employed residents, up 124 over the month and down by 429 over the year.
