Macon Ranks Among Georgia’s Most Expensive Markets for Gasoline

Gas prices in Macon have reached $4.12 per gallon, placing the area among Georgia’s three most expensive metro markets as drivers across the state continue paying more at the pump.
Georgia’s average price for regular unleaded gasoline stands at $4.09 per gallon, according to AAA. That is 8 cents higher than last week, 27 cents higher than last month and $1.18 higher than one year ago.
The statewide average remains 40 cents below Georgia’s record of $4.49 per gallon, set in June 2022.
