'I Just Always Liked to Cook' Hidden Macon Cafe Celebrates 30 Years of Home Cooking

Tucked away on the corner of Lower Poplar Street, Cox Cafe is easy to miss from the road, but the people who know about it keep coming back for a home-cooked meal.
Kelvin Hill found the cafe through coworkers when he started working on the railroad.
"Some coworkers of mine introduced me to this place when I started working on the railroad," Hill said. "That's how I found it, and I've been coming ever since."
Owner David Cox makes his way through the dining room, checking on tables as he goes.
