Derrick Morris has made Gordon his permanent home, and now he wants to help more people do the same.
Morris, with Impresa Modular of Middle Georgia, is bringing modular-home options to the city in an effort to give first-time buyers and longtime residents another way to find housing.
Modular homes are built in sections off-site before being transported and assembled at the home site. Morris said the construction process can help builders reach a price point that fits the local market.
“We’re able to really hit a price point that is one of the key targets for this particular marketplace,” Morris said.
