Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia (CL&SH), through One Safe Place Macon (OSPM), is proud to present Anchored in HOPE: An Art Exhibition, showcasing artwork created by children and youth participating in Camp HOPE Central Georgia.

The community is invited to experience the exhibition on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 PM at Tanglewood Art Studio, 1080 Third Street, Suite 500 Macon, Georgia.

Since its launch in 2023, Camp HOPE Central Georgia has provided trauma-informed experiences for children and youth ages 7–16. What began as a summer camp has grown into a year-round commitment to helping young people experience belonging, build resilience, discover their strengths, and develop hope for their future.

Camp HOPE is more than a week at camp. It is an opportunity for children to experience something different.

For one week, campers are surrounded by safe and caring adults, build friendships, participate in new experiences, and are encouraged to believe in themselves, believe in others, and believe in their dreams.
Now, through the arts, their voices and experiences are being shared with the broader community.

The Anchored in HOPE project represents a unique partnership between Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia, One Safe Place Macon, local artist Mama Hawk Draws, and the young people of Camp HOPE Central Georgia.

This project is funded in part by grant from South Arts in partnership with the National
Endowment for the Arts and State Arts Agencies of Georgia.
