Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated over $54,000 to twenty-nine local teachers through their 5^th Annual GRANTED program.

The credit union believes that a bright future starts with a solid education. That’s why they created their GRANTED program in 2022 to help alleviate some of the financial burden teachers may face in their effort to educate and engage their students. Educators who teach grades K-12 at schools located within one of the credit union's 45-county service areas were eligible to apply. If selected, recipients receive classroom supplies or monetary donations to purchase items from their classroom wish lists.

“This grant has made a meaningful impact on both my classroom and me as an educator,” shared Shanna Roberson from Dodge County Primary School. “It has given me the opportunity to provide my students with resources and learning experiences that I may not have been able to provide otherwise. Knowing that these materials can be used year after year makes the impact even greater. As a teacher, it is encouraging to know that organizations like Robins Financial Credit Union value education and are willing to invest in our students and their futures.”

Since beginning this program, Robins Financial has awarded over $213,000 to local teachers.
