State Board of Education Recommends Suspension of Dublin City Board of Education

Yesterday, the State Board of Education (SBOE) voted to recommend the suspension of all sitting members of the Dublin City Board of Education to Governor Brian Kemp.
The SBOE scheduled yesterday's hearing in accordance with O.C.G.A. § 20-2-73, which requires that the State Board of Education conduct such a hearing when a local school system or school is placed on the level of accreditation immediately preceding loss of accreditation by one or more accrediting agencies.
