Ocmulgee Heritage Trail Project Manager Offers Update as Bibb Leaders Allocate More Money for Expansion

Bibb leaders are continuing to take small steps in the massive Ocmulgee Heritage Trail Expansion project, focusing now on a planned two mile connection trail.
Project manager Bill Causey says the connection trail will start in Amerson River Park and connection Downtown Macon and eventually the Ocmulgee Mounds to the entire heritage trail. Which Causey says was a key part of the plan since it was first proposed.
