Dublin Community Member Reacts After State Board Recommends Suspending Dublin City School's Board

For Rae Bloodworth, the drive from Dublin to Atlanta wasn't optional. It was something she felt she owed to the community she's spent years fighting for.
Bloodworth was one of several community members who made the trip to Atlanta last week to witness the Georgia Board of Education's hearing on the future of the Dublin City Schools board. After hours of testimony, the state board voted unanimously, 10-0, to recommend that Gov. Brian Kemp suspend the local board.
