Bibb County Back-to-School Bash Distributes 2,000 Bookbags

Bibb County families received school supplies, uniforms and other support Friday during the district’s ninth annual Back-to-School Bash on Friday.
This year’s back-to-school bash was a bit different because Bibb County Superintendent Dr. Dan Sims wanted a more intimate celebration.
The event, held at the Macon Mall, provided families and students with school supplies, uniforms and community resources. Dr. Sims says they gave out 2,000 bookbags this year.
