'A Need, Not A Want' - Macon-Bibb, State Officials to Begin Preliminary Work on Bass Road Widening

Macon-Bibb leaders are taking small steps in a massive road improvement project.
The county's engineering team and the Georgia Department of Transportation will soon begin land survey work for the Bass Road widening project. This early work will include flagging trees and vegetation for removal, and identifying property lines and right-of-ways. That work and more needs to be done before construction begins.
