Bragg Jam Keeps Legacy Alive Through Music in Downtown Macon

From packed venues to live music on stages across downtown, Bragg Jam returned to Macon on Saturday, bringing thousands together for a festival rooted in remembrance.
More than 25 artists performed throughout downtown during the annual concert crawl, a tradition that began 27 years ago to honor brothers Brax and Tate Bragg, who were killed in a car accident in 1999.
For Heather Evans, Bragg Jam has become much more than a music festival.
“Every year we come here to remember our friends; Bragg Jam has grown beyond, it’s a festival that unites people in so many different ways,” Evans said.
