Georgia Amputee Golf Tournament Inspires Resilience and Camaraderie

For more than three decades, the Georgia Amputee Golf Tournament has brought golfers together to compete, build friendships and prove the game is about much more than a scorecard.
The annual tournament continues to provide athletes with limb loss an opportunity to test their skills on the course while connecting with others who have faced similar challenges.
For participant Jim Young, the event is about much more than competition.
"It's amazing just to see the tenacity and the willingness to get up every day and fight the good fight," Young said. "It's inspiring, really."
