Montezuma's Mayor Resigned at City Council Meeting on Tuesday, Police Chief Confirms

The Mayor of Montezuma has resigned after four years in office, according to Montezuma Police Chief Eric Finch.
Finch said that Mayor Nealie Johnson resigned at the Montezuma City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 9. Finch said Johnson delivered her resignation via a “formal statement.”
Finch could not provide a reason for Johnson's resignation.
