Macon Pops Announces 14th Concert Series

Macon Pops has announced its 14th concert series, a season that celebrates iconic artists, timeless music, and the rich musical heritage that has made Georgia (and Macon) a cultural crossroads for generations.
The 2026-27 season features five unique performances spanning the music of The Beatles, Tony Bennett, Georgia legends, holiday favorites, and beloved songs of summer, continuing Macon Pops' mission of making great music accessible to audiences across Middle Georgia.
“Season 14 is all about celebrating the music that connects generations,” said Steve Moretti, CEO and co-founder of Macon Pops. “From the solo works of The Beatles to our annual Christmas Spectacular, we’re excited to continue bringing unforgettable musical experiences to Middle Georgia.”
The season will feature guest artists including Grammy Award-winning songwriter Kristian Bush, Grammy-winning keyboardist and producer Brandon Bush, Southern rock legend Jimmy Hall, acclaimed jazz vocalist and trumpeter Joe Gransden, and singer-songwriters Josh Carson and Zanuck Kapala Lindsey, among many other special guests. The 14th concert series includes:
• The Fab Four: The Solo Years – Friday, August 14, 2026, at Mercer University’s Hawkins Arena. A celebration
of the music John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr created beyond The Beatles.
• Tony Bennett: 100 Years, A Centennial Celebration – Friday, October 23, 2026, at Macon City Auditorium.
• Macon Pops Christmas Spectacular – Friday, November 27, 2026, in downtown Macon, launching the Macon
Christmas Light Extravaganza.
• Georgia Grown: A Celebration of Our Musical Legacy – Saturday, April 3, 2027, at Macon City Auditorium.
• Songs of Summer – Saturday, May 29, 2027, at the Museum of Arts & Sciences.
