Macon Mayor Unveils New $350M Arena to Replace Coliseum

For decades, drivers passing down Coliseum Drive have seen the same aging building. But, that familiar sight will soon be replaced by something Macon has never seen before.
On Wednesday, Mayor Lester Miller and several partners gathered at the historic Douglass Theatre to unveil renderings of a brand-new arena — a $350 million project city leaders say will reshape Macon-Bibb County's economic future and put the city on the map.
