'Big Presence with a Big Heart' -Longtime Central Georgia Superintendent Brent Lowe Passes Away

A longtime superintendent who spent decades serving Central Georgia students has died.
Current Butts County superintendent and former Crawford County superintendent Brent Lowe died at the age of 50, according to Butts County coroner Lacey Prue.
Prue said that Lowe died of natural causes on Saturday and was surrounded by family. The Butts County School District confirmed his death in a statement, saying that his loss would leave a hole in their community.
