Bibb Board of Education Adopts 2027 Budget, Includes $9.4M in Cuts - Here's What Parents Need to Know

After weeks of planning and public input, Bibb County Schools has a financial plan for the next fiscal year. The Board of Education adopted their FY 2027 budget Thursday following a final public hearing.

The budget includes roughly $9.4 million in cuts, but still leaves the district in a $15 million deficit

"We're trying to find the best way to move this system forward financially in a good way," Board of Education President Daryl Morton said.
