Bibb Assessment Notices Mailed with New Tax Savings Details

Annual assessment notices are being mailed to Bibb County taxpayers Friday, and county officials say this year’s notices include changes under a new state law.
The Macon-Bibb County Board of Tax Assessors said in a news release Friday that the state-mandated notices will be mailed to the owner of record as of January 1, 2026.
The notices will continue to show the current fair market value as of January 1 and the prior year fair market value.
