Years in the Making, Fort Valley's $4M Railroad Intersection Project Finally Complete

After nearly a decade of planning and more than two years of construction, drivers in downtown Fort Valley can finally cross the railroad tracks along U.S. 341 again without taking a detour.
The railroad crossing project in downtown Fort Valley is now complete, reopening a major intersection that had been closed during construction.
