Middle Georgia Regional Airport Receives FAA Funding to Continue Runway Expansion Project

Macon-Bibb leaders officially accepted a $2.6 million dollar grant which will help a major project at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport take off.
The Airport Infrastructure Grant is worth up to $2,618,518.00 and will help cover the airport's 600-foot runway expansion. Director of Aviation Doug Faour says the grant will contribute to the roughly $30 million dollar project.
