Costco Submits Plans to Build Store in North Macon, Drawing Some Concerns From Neighbors

A Costco could be coming to North Macon.
The big-box retailer submitted plans to Macon-Bibb Planning and Zoning earlier this month to rezone a 27.15 acre plot near Bass Road for a new store. The plot sits near the intersection of New Forsyth Road and Wesleyan Drive.
The proposal has drawn some mixed feelings for shoppers and business owners near the site.
