Cochran City Council Fires Interim City Clerk Due to 'Improprieties'

The interim city clerk for Cochran was terminated on Wednesday after city council called a special meeting.
A special city council meeting was called Tuesday to discuss personnel matters in executive session, according to the city's meeting agenda.
Cochran Mayor Carla Coley confirmed to 13WMAZ that Tiffany Lampp Fowler was terminated from her position as interim city clerk. Fowler worked in city hall since August 2023, and was previously the deputy city clerk.
