Winners Announced for the 4th Annual Pink Provisions Trail & Paint Macon Pink Participating Businesses

Visit Macon is proud to announce the winners of two awards aimed at celebrating the Macon businesses that help activate our downtown community for the season and embody the spirit of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. 

The Pink Provisions Trail encourages visitors and residents to try all of the pink and Cherry Blossom-themed delights that Macon businesses craft intentionally for specials in celebration of the 10-day festival. The items were then sampled at an event on the opening day of the International Cherry Blossom Festival, called the Pink Provisions Preview Party.

These awards are for “People’s Choice” and were voted on by participants throughout the festival.  The 2026 winners are:

People’s Choice “Drink the Pink” Alcoholic Beverage Winner:
Switch Macon - “Blossom & Buzzed” a Bacardi Rum & St. Germain Cocktail

People’s Choice “Drink the Pink” Alcoholic Beverage Winner:
Hello Boba - “Sakura Splash” lychee pink lemonade with cherry popping boba

People’s Choice Savory Treat Winner:  Cashman’s Pub - “Pink Pub Nachos” 

People’s Choice Sweets Treat Winner:  Layer’s Bakery - “Strawberry Sakura”

#PaintMaconPink is a pink-filled community branding effort to honor the historic International Cherry Blossom Festival, giving businesses a chance to put community pride on full display. “When visitors make their way to our area each year for the festival, they come to see our cherry blossoms in bloom, to join the Pinkest Party on Earth, and to explore Macon. The businesses (and residents) that really go above and beyond to decorate truly enhance that experience.  It makes their visit so much more memorable.  It encourages them to enter our businesses, and it is an asset to the event to continue its growth!” says Visit Macon’s Director of Marketing, Carly King.

 
“The business that provided a perfect opportunity for videos, reels, and TikTok creators, earning the most shares across social media, and proved to be a festival-favorite across feed was Parish on Cherry! Earning them the $1000 cash prize.” King continues. “Then, our grand prize of $1500 for the #PaintMaconPink “Best in Show” award was selected by our judges to be granted to Switch Macon whose “Chick Flicks and Cherry Blossom” themed bar is still available to enjoy until May 3rd!”
 
“This year, we also invited three social media influencers who specialize in DIY decorating, decor styling, and party planning to join in the fun.” Ashley Dixon | Decor, DIY, Cleaning & Organization Expert of @alexanderreneedesign designed the display at The Bohemian Den, Ashley Weller @southernchicstyle gave a photospot touch to Ocmulgee Brewpub, and Vicky Pham of @vickyhomehaven filled the windows of Just Tap’d.
 

Next year’s International Cherry Blossom Festival will be held March 19-28, 2027.
