Planters First Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie R. Hill as Perry Market President. With more than 25 years of banking experience, Hill brings a strong track record of business development, relationship management, and leadership to the role.

“Stephanie’s depth of experience and passion for community banking make her a natural fit for this role,” said Eli Tinsley, President and CEO of Planters First Bank. “She brings a proven ability to drive deposit growth, strengthen client relationships, and lead with both strategy and execution. Stephanie understands the importance of building core deposits, expanding treasury relationships, and creating long-term value for both our customers and our communities. Her leadership, energy, and commitment to developing strong teams will continue to strengthen our presence across Middle Georgia and support our long-term growth strategy.”

Hill previously served as Senior Vice President and Retail Market Leader for Middle Georgia at Synovus Bank, where she led high-performing teams and drove growth across multiple markets. She studied Business and Finance at Macon State College.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Hill is deeply engaged in her community. She currently serves as a Board of Directors member for the Perry Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of the Perry Leadership Program through the University of Georgia’s J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development. Her involvement also includes serving as Chair of the Business Development Committee for the Perry Chamber, acting as a United Way Loaned Executive for United Way of Central Georgia campaigns, volunteering as an Event Lead for the Diplomat Committee—where she earned Diplomat of the Year in 2018—and active membership in the Kiwanis Club.

As part of this transition, current Perry Market President William “Dey” Palmer will take on a new role as Regional Lender and will be relocating to Planters First Bank’s Macon office. In this capacity, Palmer will continue to support the bank’s growth and lending initiatives across the region.

“Stephanie is a proven leader who understands both the needs of our customers and the importance of community connection,” said Jamie Langham, Bibb/Houston Regional President. “Her ability to build strong teams and meaningful relationships will serve our Perry community well. We’re also excited to see Dey step into his new role, where his experience will continue to make a strong impact across our region.”

Planters First Bank remains committed to investing in experienced leadership and delivering exceptional, locally focused banking services. Hill’s appointment reflects the bank’s continued focus on growth, community engagement, and providing trusted financial solutions throughout Middle Georgia.
