Macon Mayhem Clinch Playoff Spot for First Time Since 2021

The Macon Mayhem are headed back to the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
Macon secured its postseason spot Friday night with a 6-2 road win over the Fayetteville Marksmen after a 4-1 win over the same team Thursday.
According to Southern Professional Hockey League standings, the Mayhem have clinched the eighth and final playoff spot with 58 points entering the final day of the regular season.
