Macon Could Get New Hyatt Studios Hotel Under Proposed Development Plans

A new hotel development could expand lodging options in Macon, as Hyatt Studios has submitted plans to build a seven-story, 128-room hotel at 1512 Bass Road.
New hotel proposed for growing North Macon corridor
According to the application, the proposed hotel would total about 72,000 square feet and include a main lobby, administrative offices, elevators, laundry facilities, and other support spaces.
The design does not include a restaurant, bar, or swimming pool. According to the plans, the streamlined approach is intended to reduce operating costs and help keep room rates competitive.
