Macon-Bibb Voting to Extend Root Analytics Contract, Continuing Outreach for Homeless Community

Macon-Bibb County commissioners are set to vote Tuesday on a $45,000 extension of a contract with Root Analytics LLC. That's a Macon data firm that provides outreach to people experiencing homelessness and collects information on the city’s unhoused population.
If approved, the extension would bring the total contract value to $120,000 and keep Root Analytics working through June 30, even though the state’s annual Point-in-Time Count (PIT) data has not yet been completed.
