Goodwill’s Spring Job Fair Connects Macon Talent to Hiring Employers

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Wednesday, April 1st, 2026

As employers across Macon-Bibb County continue to hire and many residents look for stable, long-term careers, Goodwill of Middle Georgia is bringing both together for one day of connection and opportunity.

Goodwill will host its Spring 2026 Job Fair on Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anderson Conference Center, 5171 Eisenhower Pkwy.

Presented by Cumulus Radio and supported by NAMI of Central Georgia, the event connects job seekers with hiring employers and career resources designed to help individuals move forward with confidence.

The event is free for job seekers.

“Job seekers are looking for more than a job. They’re looking for a path forward,” said Candace Simmons, Career Center Coordinator at Goodwill of Middle Georgia. “This event creates a space where people can meet employers, build confidence and take that next step toward a career.”

A One-Stop Opportunity for Job Seekers

Attendees will have the chance to meet face-to-face with employers hiring across multiple industries including education, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics and public service.

Employers scheduled to attend include:
Accurate Heating & Air, Ambassador Personnel, Bibb County School District, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, cabi, Coca-Cola, Delta Life, Georgia Power – Plant Scherer, Goodwill, Groome Transportation, Integra Business Alternatives, Macon Housing Authority, Randstad, River Edge Behavioral Health and WR-ALC Robins Air Force Base.

In addition, community partners will provide resources that support long-term success—not just immediate employment.

Resource agencies include:
Atrium Health Healthy Foods, Goodwill Career Education, GVRA Vocational Rehabilitation, Helms College, Macon AIM, Mother’s Nest, SNAP Works and the VECTR Center.

Get Ready Early. Get in Early.

Job seekers can take an extra step to stand out before the event. Individuals who visit a local Goodwill Job Connection prior to the fair can receive help updating their resume and preparing for employer conversations.

Those who complete this step will receive early entry at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the event, giving them first access to employers before general admission begins.

Job seekers are also encouraged to pre-register (free) to save time and move quickly into employer conversations.
