A Georgia-born music festival returns to Macon this weekend, bringing live performances, songwriter sessions and a spotlight on a city with deep musical roots and a growing industry footprint.
South of Atlanta Fest, created by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Brent Cobb, is scheduled for May 1-2. The event spreads across downtown venues and highlights Southern songwriting, live performance and Macon’s long-standing connection to American music history.
