reSISTERS
Macon Arts Alliance is excited to present their April show, “reSISTERS”, featuring works by mixed media artist She Keene. In “reSISTERS”, Keene creates abstract and figurative mixed media pieces that collage historic photographs of early suffragists, layered with both bold and fading text; words that reflect the rights and freedoms people are still fighting to claim today.
The opening reception is Friday, April 3 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Senior Cinema: Miles Ahead
Senior Cinema is a monthly program that provides film/moviegoers ages 55+ free admission to the theatre to watch and engage in a breadth of classic films to current box office hits; with subtitles for hearing impaired.
A fictionalized, jazz-inspired biopic directed by and starring Don Cheadle as legendary musician Miles Davis during his 5-year disappearance from public view. Don leads the audience on a 1970s adventure as Mr. Miles Davis himself and his partner Dave Braden; a Rolling Stone Reporter as they team up to recover a stolen session tape. The journey captures his ruthless arrogant attitude as he spirals through intense flashbacks of past struggles with chronic physical pain, drug use, and the haunting memories of his broken marriages.
