Macon-Bibb P&Z Leaders Move Forward with Planned 60-Home Subdivision in South Bibb

A new subdivision could be on the way in South Bibb, after the Planning and Zoning board approved conditional use of nearly 18 acres on Moseley Dixon Road near Lake Tobesofkee.

The subdivision would take up plots at 5986 and 5898 Moseley Dixon Road, and include 60 homes.

Planning and zoning leaders say Macon needs more housing like this, but some neighbors near the proposed site have concerns that growth is happening too fast.
