Houston County Commissioners Plan Website Redesign for Easier Access

Houston County commissioners plan to hire a company to update the county’s website, a move announced at Tuesday night's commission meeting.
The redesign, expected to cost a little over $15,000, aims to modernize a site untouched since 2016 and bring it into compliance with federal disability rules.
Will Davis, Houston County’s director of management information systems, said the investment responds to heavy public reliance on websites for essential tasks.
