Gordon State College associate professor of nursing Bruce Capers recently shared his expertise on health and wellness with a global audience after being selected as a keynote speaker for a live online event hosted by motivational speaker and event organizer Eric F. King.

Capers was one of 15 keynote speakers invited to participate in the event, which featured experts from a range of professional fields and attracted viewers from around the world. He was selected in the health and wellness category following a nomination from Ksmilez Entertainment, a production company that previously engaged him as a keynote speaker for the 2025 Executive Protection & Elite Bodyguard Awards.

During the event, Capers presented his 10-Step Infinite Total Health & Wellness Program, a framework designed to help individuals build sustainable habits that support long-term physical, emotional and social well-being.

The program is structured in three phases: building an internal foundation through spiritual, emotional, social and cultural fitness; strengthening the adaptive body through cardiorespiratory health, muscle strength, body composition and flexibility; and implementing a system of winning that focuses on consistency, time management and nutrition.

“For many people, the biggest challenge is knowing where to start,” Capers said. “This program focuses on practical steps that anyone can incorporate into their daily routine, even with a busy schedule.”

At GSC, Capers integrates many of these principles into his teaching and campus initiatives. Through courses such as “Fitness for Life” and faculty and staff wellness programming, he encourages students and colleagues to develop habits that improve overall health and performance.

Over the course of his 13 years at GSC, Capers said he has seen firsthand how consistent lifestyle changes can make a meaningful difference.

“Students who commit to the process often see significant results within a single semester,” Capers said. “Beyond physical changes, the biggest impact is the confidence and motivation they gain from improving their health.”

King’s platform provides emerging and established speakers the opportunity to expand their message to a broader audience while connecting with meeting and event planners for future speaking engagements. His company has been featured in numerous media outlets, including USA News, NBC, Fox and Digital Journal.
