Wild Things and Magical Places
Macon Arts Alliance is happy to present their March exhibit, “Wild Things and Magical Places”, featuring works by local painter Debbie Dent Anderson.
This collection is a colorful journey of impressions captured in oil and pastel, exploring the American landscape and wildlife—from the mountains of Montana and Wyoming to the high deserts of Nevada and Utah.
The opening reception is Friday, March 6 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Join us for the opening reception of the 13th Annual Bibb County Schools Student Art Show. This annual exhibit was started to celebrate Youth Art Month by recognizing the young artists in our community and giving them the opportunity to show their work in a true art gallery. Bibb County elementary, middle, and high school art teachers select work from their students for this exhibit.
Wesleyan College Leadership Lab (522 Cherry St), 5-8 pm
Wesleyan Leadership Lab presents Layers of Becoming, an exhibit of work by Cedric Smith, with an artist talk at 6 pm.
McEachern Art Center (332 2nd St), 4-8 pm
Guilty Pleasures, featuring works by Brittany Coburn, continues on exhibit. It explores the vices, comforts, and coping mechanisms we carry as we navigate life’s complexities.
Gallery West (447 3rd St), 5-8 pm
New York photographer Arnie Goodman visits Gallery West for a 3-day showing of his music and NYC photos, with an opening reception and artist meet-and-greet on First Friday. Goodman traveled the world with a number of well-known musicians including Savoy Brown, Mick Taylor of the Rolling Stones, and Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac.
Sheridan Studios (586 Poplar St), 4-8 pm
Make the Bed continues on exhibit, featuring 60 intimate works by Walker Antonio, artist and art teacher at Woodberry Forest. Live music by Tripp Spears, 6-8 pm.

Neon up and roll out! Join Fall Line Brewing Co. & Bike Tech Macon for a glowing nighttime bike ride through Downtown as part of Fall Line.
