Central Georgia Cancer Care, a partner practice of American Oncology Network (AON), is proud to welcome two new advanced practitioners to its growing care team. Family Nurse Practitioner Nancy Sellars, FNP-C, joined the practice in January 2026, and Physician Assistant Kimberly Edwards McLean, PA-C, joined in October 2025. Both providers serve patients across CGCC’s Macon and Warner Robins locations, further strengthening the practice’s commitment to delivering evidence-based, compassionate oncology care.

Nancy Sellars, FNP-C, brings nearly a decade of advanced clinical experience to CGCC. She most recently served as Director of Clinical Services at Peachtree Immediate Care, where she oversaw advanced practice providers across twelve clinics and collaborated with senior medical leadership on clinical policy development and quality improvement initiatives.

Prior to her leadership role, Nancy practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Central Georgia Infectious Disease, managing complex inpatient cases including sepsis, multidrug-resistant infections, endocarditis, pneumonia, and other acute and chronic infectious conditions. Her strong background in infectious disease and internal medicine provides a valuable foundation for caring for medically complex oncology patients.

When asked why she loves what she does, Nancy shared: “As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I believe my role extends beyond managing diagnoses — it’s about caring for the whole person. I value the opportunity to connect with each patient, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and genuinely understood at every visit. At Central Georgia Cancer Care, I have the privilege of combining evidence-based care with compassion, helping patients navigate some of life’s most difficult moments.”

Physician Assistant Kimberly Edwards McLean, PA-C, brings a diverse clinical background and a personal connection to oncology care. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mercer University and holds board certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Kimberly previously practiced in dermatology and internal medicine before transitioning into oncology, where she focuses on patient-centered care, treatment education, and symptom management for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

When reflecting on what drew her to oncology care, Kimberly shared: “As a Physician Assistant, I am honored to walk alongside patients and their families through some of the most challenging moments in their lives. Having experienced the impact of cancer within my own family, I understand firsthand the importance of compassionate, personalized care. That experience has deepened my commitment to providing excellent care and supporting patients through every step of their journey.”

Central Georgia Cancer Care continues to expand its care team to meet the growing needs of patients across Middle Georgia. By adding experienced advanced practitioners like Sellars and McLean, the practice remains committed to providing comprehensive, personalized cancer care close to home.
